About the Item
Elegantly shaped and skillfully crafted, this console table is adorned with gilded brass accents on a polished steel frame and base.
While there is no maker's mark, the craftsmanship and style would suggest that this table hails from the prominent French furniture maker Maison Jansen and was created some time in the mid 20th century.
With clear nods to the Neoclassical style, the feet are in the shape of animal paws, while the table top with clear glass insert rests effortlessly on swan necks.
In very good stable condition and with only minimal signs of its age, this console table has maintained its timeless appeal throughout the decades.
We have no doubts that this gorgeous piece of French design will fit well with most home decor styles adding an understated touch of Hollywood Regency to its new home.
