A Fine and Rare French Empire Mahogany Corner Console or 'Encoignure', late 19th cent. with a triangular top of ebonized molded edge, raised on a finely sculpted giltwood winged caryatid. Highly decorative, superb quality and craftmanship : a rare find which brings a sophisticated touch to an entry hall, salon, or library. dimensions 42"h x 28"w x 20"d condition : very good antique condition , minor scuffs commensurate with age
