About the Item

This mid-century Italian console table from the 1950s enchants with its revisited neoclassical elegance. The top is made of cream marble with delicate yellow veining, slightly chamfered at the edges; the supporting structure is made of glossy black lacquered wood, creating a sophisticated contrast. The four tapered legs, with a conical cross-section, evoke lightness and dynamism; each leg is embellished with gilded brass rings and bands at mid-height. The feet end with brass clogs, typical details of Italian design of the period. An X-shaped lower crosspiece, also lacquered black, provides structural stability. The crosspiece intersects in an arched fashion, lending a sense of movement to the base. The overall design recalls the style of Paolo Buffa or contemporary designers of the period. Perfect for an entryway or living room, it combines mid-century modernity with classic touches.
