This is a lovely small antique console or side table, made in France in the mid-19th century, with a refined yet functional design.
The top is made from polished white marble with soft grey veining, giving the piece a touch of luxury and elegance.
The base is made from fruitwood veneer with a warm patina and smooth finish with curved legs and S-shape, a hallmark of the Empire style.
A great console for an entrance or hallway it can also be placed as a side table in a living room. The hidden drawer provides some useful storage - please take a look at all our pictures.
The marble top makes it ideal for displaying decorative objects, lamps, or even as a plant stand.
