About the Item

A stunning 20th Century well figured inlaid fruitwood console table of slim proportions, in excellent original condition and of exceptional quality. This beautiful piece is finely hand carved with rich patination, grain and brass mounted with delicate line inlay throughout. The striking onyx top of demilune form with fabulous hues of gold and cream is raised over a simple, panelled line inlaid frieze with gorgeous inlaid foliate detail. Supported on elegantly, tapering square leg with brass mounts featuring applied flowerhead paterae, conjoined with graceful brass mounted concave stretcher.
