The spectacular unique console was designed by Elizabeth de Portzamparc for the Café of the Cité de la Musique in Paris. With its round and dancing shapes the console is reminiscent of the iconic building built in 1994 by her husband Christian de Portzamparc. The building is part of the Parc de la Villette which is an iconic and ground breaking architecture Parisian project from the 80s/90s. The shape and construction of the console are reminiscent of the work of Charlotte Perriand and this is probably a tribute by de Portzamparc, architect herself.
