A masterpiece of Hollywood Regency and Neoclassical revival design, this piece features a heavy cast metal frame finished in a brilliant antique gold. The apron is lavishly adorned with high-relief floral rosettes and a central heraldic shield, flanked by dramatic winged griffins or dragons holding rings in their mouths. The sinuous cabriole legs curve elegantly down to hoof feet, connected by a pierced decorative stretcher shelf, showcasing the intricate casting quality synonymous with high-end ornamental ironwork.
