Model designed for the office of the French ambassador in Washington

Designed by the world renowned French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte for the office of the French ambassador of Washington this piece is one of the most iconic design of the 1980s. A similar example is part of the collections of the Mobilier National in France. The piece was produced in very limited quantities by Academy which was Wilmotte's own company that closed in the early 1990s when he became an architect.
