A white-veined black marble console table after a design by Serge Roche. The foliate legs supported on plinth have been sculptured to create a support for the shaped black marble console table top. The marble top rests upon an under-table base in black. The legs attach to this base. The console table is In beautiful condition. One of a pair of console tables.
The marble top is 30mm thick.
Max width at base: 6.75"
Serge Roche was a French artist (1898 - 1988) known for his elegant furniture design which was a playful take on Baroque-Revival during the mid-twentieth century. His pieces often featured distressed reflective surfaces to play with light.
