A fine antique marquetry inlaid
marble topped flame mahogany demi-lune cabinet, circa 1900.
This very elegant antique demi-lune cabinet with a cream and caramel veined marble top, the case is made of the finest figured mahogany
has a single locking door (original key is present) to the center
encloses two shelves. The door is bordered with crossbanded satinwood inlay with inlaid fan shaped spandrels to the corners, to the center is an inlaid oval panel with a shell design, to each side are panels with corresponding inlays.
The cabinet is raised on four cabriole legs with carved scrolling
acanthus leaves to the top and terminating to carved
scrolled pad feet.
The cabinet is in excellent condition and is ready to grace your space, it would serve as a great drinks cabinet.
