Dreamy pair of late 19th/early 20th century Swedish painted pine demilune console tables or round center table. Crafted in the Gustavian taste with whimsical carved rings on the legs. The large consoles are constructed with mortise and tenon joinery and supported by turned legs. The thick aprons measure 24.5 inches from the floor. The pine has a desirable faded, distressed patina on the finish . The tables fit together to form a round center table measuring over 4 feet in diameter. Sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship and a distinctive profile. Sold as a pair.
