About the Item

Extremely rare and one of a kind biomorphic marble desk. Outstanding design is exhibited throughout. Just look at the gorgeous curves on this beauty! This beutiful beige marble desk in the style of Angelo Mangiarotti. Circa 1960s. The octagonal round shape pillars where the marble top rests on shows what the pillars could carry. The brilliantly designed of the desk and all the construction is based on its shape and gravity. The 2 marble legs support the thick and heavy biomorphic marble top. The Marple top is wrapped over wood for protection. The beige marble shows a dynamic grain and so the design gets a natural and sculptural look. Its bold and striking, the piece can be in an interior setting or capture the eye in any environment.
