19TH C Inlaid Marquetry Bronze Mounted Ladies Desk. Fichet A Paris stamped in drawer. This exquisite 19th-century French Louis XV style writing desk showcases elegant craftsmanship and refined detail. The desk features a serpentine front, richly veneered in kingwood and rosewood with intricate parquetry inlay. The upper section includes multiple small drawers and a central cubby, perfect for organizing stationery or personal items. The piece is adorned with finely cast gilt bronze (ormolu) mounts, enhancing its graceful cabriole legs, drawer fronts, and corners with ornate rococo motifs. A tooled leather writing surface adds to its functionality and sophistication. Dimensions: 41" h x 39 1/2" w x 23 3/4" d.
