About the Item

A large and impressive 19th Century Chippendale walnut partners desk of exceptional quality, having a wonderful figured top that is sectioned with crossbanding and herringbone inlay and having a moulded edge, a truly wonderful looking top that has a warm rich colour, having five oak lined drawers either side, all with the original brass plate handles and escutcheons, decorative shaped apron on all sides of the desk, supported on fabulous carved cabriole legs with ball and claw feet. Circa 1860.
