About the Item

C19th French country house oak desk with three deep drawers. This is a solid and understated bureau Plat in an earlier C18th style. The central drawer being shallow with later hardware. It sits on stylised splayed legs, comfortable to work at with a spacious top. It is also finished and panelled on the back so could easily free stand.
