About the Item
An exceptional mahogany Regency writing or library table, featuring a rectangular green leather inset top tooled with an elegant border of gilt-scrolled acanthus flower heads and a subtly worn patina that attests to its age. The piece is set on a pair of ebonized, banded, harp-shaped columns supported by down-swept legs with delicate ebony inlay, each terminating in brass castors that allow graceful movement while preserving the table’s refined silhouette.
