About the Item

An exquisite writing table featuring a figured mahogany top adorned with charming clover-leaf corners. The table’s delicate proportions and pleasing aesthetics are further enhanced by its cross-banded satinwood construction and finely line-inlaid ebony and boxwood detailing. This intricate craftsmanship exudes refined antique elegance. The front of the table is equipped with two functional drawers, while the rear features two faux drawers, each adorned with bone and mahogany handles. The sides are further embellished with string-inlaid detailing, adding to the table’s sophistication. The saber legs, intricately inlaid with satinwood and joined by a remedial stretcher, culminate in brass casters that harmonize with the overall design.
