About the Item

A handsome twin pedestal kneehole partners desk. Hand finished flame mahogany with turned legs. Satinwood crossbanding stringing inlay around the edges, drawers, front and top perimeter. Turned wood nobs present on the drawers. Curved stretchers connecting the legs for reinforcement and decoration. Made in England circa late 19th century. No obvious markings present on the piece. In good condition. Some gentle wear consistent with age and use. Some veneer lifting/chipping at corners This striking desk would make a perfect addition to any study, or office.
