This is an antique bureau plat. A French, walnut and boxwood writing desk in Louis XV revival taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.   Beautiful revival homage to the celebrated Louis XV taste Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order Select walnut stocks show fine grain interest throughout Striking light caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish   Traditional bureau plat form, with serpentine curvature Generous quartered top with boxwood inlaid medallion and stringing borders Wide central drawer dressed with a pair of brass drop pendant pulls Standing upon tall cabriole legs, beneath shaped fascia accentuated with inlaid boxwood detail   This is a striking antique bureau plat desk, with traditional grace and quality craftsmanship. Finished throughout, this table is ideal for central room placement. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
