About the Item

A stunning antique Edwardian writing desk. This was made in England, it dates from the 1900-1910 period. It is of exceptional quality and has a beautiful design. The wood is profusely inlaid with gorgeous floral satinwood designs, there is a nicely stretchered base that is also nicely inlaid. There is an inset tooled leather writing surface in the centre, and a small storage compartment on the back with a lift up link for pens and ink. We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
