About the Item

A fine Aesthetic Movement example of a charming writing desk fashioned with elaborate galleries and simulated bamboo accents, including root feet. The desk with a single drawer with replaced turned pulls, an H-form stretcher support and faux bamboo trim. Dimensions: 36 3/4" L, 26 1/4" D, 30 1/8" H, 23 7/8" from floor to bottom of drawer. Condition: Please see detail photos. There is acceptable general wear including some dulling/wear/fine stable age cracks and some scratching to the table top surface finish however retains a fine patina and honey tone. Wear to feet, scratches. Please see photos for details of condition.
