About the Item

Antique French Neoclassical Henri II Oak Partner's Desk literally doubles your efficiency! Fitted with three drawers, vertical file storage and interior drawers on both sides, it's ready to do yeoman's service in style. The spacious top has a bold half-bullnose bevel all around, and is integral to the top unit which consists of the six aforementioned drawers as a removable unit. The lower cabinets are separate and removable, making it a three-piece project to move into your room for final assembly. Ingenious! Carved embellishment recalls the glory days of ancient Greece and Rome, with bold scroll work, urns and foliate sprays, all framed by pyramidal blocks on the drawer tier, and tapered, fluted and carved columns on the lower cabinet tier.
