About the Item
A superb antique military campaign desk / writing table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.
It is very well made and has a very smart design. The wood has a gorgeous colour tone and wonderful grain patterns, the wood is offset beautifully by the brass details. This is a very useful size, and is finished nicely on the back as well, so it can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. There are some small marks and indentations here and there beneath the polish, giving this a wonderful patina.
