About the Item
Introduced in 2016, WORK table is a contemporary take on the traditional working tables used by artists and designers for centuries.
The table has height adjustable trestles made of solid oak; and a top in tempered glass, solid oak, or veneered plywood. A gravity activated ratchet allows Work Table to be raised by lifting one trestle at a time to reach heights ranging from 28" to 36". The choice of materials combined with the robust construction give the table a timeless feel, resulting in a piece of furniture well suited to a variety of applications. It's a sturdy and practical work table, and functions equally well as a dining or console table. This table seats six to eight people.

Casey Lurie Studio
Casey Lurie is an independent designer based in Chicago. He apprenticed as a cabinet maker in Los Angeles before spending three years in Tokyo as designer-in-residence for Japanese furniture manufacturer Idée. In 2012 he established his design practice, Casey Lurie Studio, which integrates craft and industrial techniques to produce furniture and objects marked by thoughtful attention to detail, scale, and proportion. In addition to his studio production, Lurie works with like-minded manufacturers, architects, and interior designers to design and develop a wide range of projects.
