Deceptively simple at first glance the Country Estate Partners Desk by Niagara Furniture is remarkably sophisticated in its attention to detail throughout. The top section of the desk consists of a three paneled writing surface of brown full grain genuine leather which feature antique style gold tooling and three drawers on each side. The drawers are built using dovetailed construction for strength and they are beautifully decorated with hand selected burled veneers. The left pedestal bank on each side of the Country Estate Partners Desk contains a file drawer and the outside section of the desk also features wonderful figural burled veneers. A great quality piece that can be easily shipped and installed due to it’s ingenious three part construction. The desk height listed is correct at approximately 32 inches. Desk Heights were established in the 19 century when furniture production was first mechanized and standardized and people were much shorter than they are today. Our clients have been telling us for years that they need taller desks with more knee room than historically sized pieces so we created this piece to fit that need. The desk is very comfortable to sit at and with modern adjustable desk chairs the extra height for the desk is not really noticeable for most folks. Also, we created the matching file cabinets to be at 32 inches in height as well so that everything looks uniform and great when placed together. Kneehole is approximately 27 inches wide and 26 inches high. Desk measures approximately 73 inches wide x 39 inches deep x 32 inches high.
