Welded blue oxidized steel double desk MSB 302.2 by Girona-born designer Miquel Subiràs.
The Double Desk. A study in constructive essentialism and materialization, the designer stands in front of the assembly of large 10mm thick blue oxidized steel slats, sifting through the options with the cooperation of a magnetic lift, searching for the perfect finish textures to layout and cut into the design.
MSubiràs (Olot, Girona). His philosophy revolves around function plus emotion, in a kind of constructive essentialism, playing with expressiveness, naturalness, refinement, technology, and sustainability. MSubiràs has created a multidisciplinary creative space principally related to architecture, design, and interior design. Formed by a network of people from different disciplines such as architecture, engineering, design, art, advertising, and more in which creativity becomes the meeting point.
