About the Item

Fermob - CALVI Velvety Matte Finish 126 × 63 cm Design: Antoine Lesur Fermob continues to impress with the Calvi table in its velvety matte finish, here proposed in the compact 126 × 63 cm format. A true concentration of design and technology, this table is ideal for small spaces, cozy dining areas, or as a stylish and functional desk. The tabletop is made of FENIX®, an innovative material with a silky, ultra-matte surface that is resistant to scratches, fingerprints, and everyday wear. A distinctive feature of FENIX® is its thermal healing capability: minor surface scratches can be reduced or removed simply by applying heat. Practical, durable, and elegant. Compact yet refined, the Calvi 126 × 63 cm table adapts effortlessly to contemporary interiors, offering both visual lightness and structural solidity. To suit different spatial needs, the Calvi table is also available in larger formats (160 × 80 cm and 195 × 95 cm). Thanks to the wide choice of tone-on-tone combinations between the tabletop and the aluminum structure, this table allows for a high level of personalization. The pairing of robust aluminum and refined FENIX® results in a timeless, contemporary piece designed to last. Piece E Tabula Non Rasa Table by Studio Traccia
Located in Geneve, CH
Piece E Tabula [non] Rasa table by Studio Traccia Dimensions: W 80 x D 80 x H 74 cm Materials: steel. Different combinations are available. The table was designed for our installation called tabula[non]rasa developed for Milan Design Week 2021, with the intent of materializing the potential of circularity through the lens of food waste. It is realized in recycled steel and a special table top material made of food scraps. The material of the table top was developed by MOGU, using a bio-based resin and low-value biomass, such as corn crops, rice straw, spent coffee grounds, waste algae and shells. The design of the table was conceived within the idea of working on modularity while yet shaping something elegant, playful and able to generate unexpected interactions. The pieces can be assembled all together to form a large leaf-shaped table, or can be arranged in creative combinations, to suit different needs, to display objects in a shop, for an exhibition or in a house. The whole table tells a story of circularity: innovative materials crafted into beautiful objects describe a new possible paradigm where resources are not depleted, but reinvested into a new metabolic loops. A new materialism that invents new narratives and form the common ground of our renewed relationships with the planet. And even more than that, a table of discussion that makes visible, the invisible flows of waste, not in a condescending way but with a positive proposal where different and circular logics are actually possible. Studio Traccia is a Milan based studio, founded in 2020 by Claudia Orsetti and Luigi Olivieri. Both have worked for over 10 years around the world, between Tokyo, London, Berlin and Amsterdam, gaining different experiences in a series of international studios such as SANAA, Heatherwick Studio, Tomas Saraceno...
