About the Item
A striking original Art Deco desk from 1930s France – where sculptural design meets practical function in perfect harmony.
The construction is distinctly asymmetrical: the left side is supported by a clean, straight leg, while the right features an elegant vertical drawer column. Additionally, two flat drawers are subtly integrated beneath the tabletop, offering smart and stylish storage.
The desk is fully veneered in real wood, finished in a rich, dark tone and sealed with a high-gloss piano lacquer that brings out the depth of the grain. The design language is classic French Art Deco – streamlined and geometric yet softened by the graceful rounded corner that curves seamlessly into the vertical side. The horizontal layering of the structure subtly enhances its architectural appeal.
Small chrome sphere knobs provide a sophisticated accent, gleaming beautifully against the mirror-like surface.
