An English mahogany writing table from the 19th century, with green leather top, gilt accents, carved reeded legs, two drawers and brass casters. Created in England during the 19th century, this desk features a rectangular top with rounded corners, fitted with a green leather writing area accented with a gilt tooled frieze. The apron conceals two drawers, showcasing brass ring pulls. Their dovetail construction reveals the piece's age. The sides are plain and the back presents dummy drawers. The ensemble is raised on four elegant legs adorned with a carved reeded décor. The table is mounted on brass casters allowing it to be more at will.
