A fine English double pedestal desk of mahogany from the 19th century, in the Georgian style, featuring a gilt embossed leather-inset top in a lovely tan hue with mahogany surround, over a frieze of three small drawers, set upon two pedestals.
Each pedestal with three drawers, set upon a plinth base with shaped feet.
The desk with a total of nine facing drawers, each with escutcheons and two round pulls of brass, with a finished back to the other side.
