About the Item

This high-end desk is the largest version of the “Il Ponte” series designed by Hans Von Klier for the Italian company Skipper in the 1970s. The desk is distinguished by the use of materials with different textures, such as mahogany, polished metal and leather, giving it an elegant, luxurious appearance. The imposing top with its curved edges is made of dark wood. The brown leather centerpiece contrasts beautifully with the dark wood. A band of chrome-plated metal separates the two parts of the top, airing out the solid appearance of the whole. The base is made up of two polished metal-covered T-shaped legs that contrast with the top and ensure perfect stability. Featured in one of the first James Bond films, it remains one of the most spectacular examples of executive design furniture. The top can be disassembled into several parts for easy transport and shipping. The desk is in great condition.
