A fine Louis XV style gilt bronze-mounted tulipwood bureau plat.
Late 19th century. The replaced gilt-stamped green leather writing surface within gilt bronze lappet and egg-and-dart borders over three frieze drawers with masques, the reverse with false drawers, raised on cabriole legs headed by bearded satyr masques, ending in gilt bronze sabots.
Measures: Height 31 1/2 x width 5'10 x depth 35 inches.
