Secrétaire Desk, c.1930
A striking French Art Deco secrétaire cabinet, circa 1930, in beautifully figured rosewood with a contrasting sycamore-lined interior. The drop-down writing surface features an inset black leather writing panel with some light wear consistent with age and use. Behind the fall front are open shelves and small drawers. The two lower drawers offer ample storage, and the whole piece sits on a dramatic splayed base with carved scroll details. Recently fully restored and professionally polished.
