An elegant and large scale double-sided French bureau plat writing desk or table of ebonized mahogany with gilt accents in the Louis XVI style.
Featuring an embossed burgundy leather top with extensive gilded bronze mounts, over a frieze with one central drawer and four smaller drawers. Opposing side contains four working drawers.
Resting on fluted and tapered legs with ormolu detailing.
