About the Item

A 1970s desk by Marcello Gacita and Pierre Tiberi for Mode Europe, composed of two sculptural trestle legs in amber plexiglass with curved silhouettes. Each base is joined by visible circular chrome hardware that emphasizes its modular construction and industrial tone. The ¾-inch thick smoked glass top rests cleanly above—sleek, minimalist, and lightly tinted to echo the warmth below. Both functional and architectural, it feels equally at home in an atelier or a refined studio space. Condition: Great vintage condition. The plexiglass trestle bases show minor wear, with light marks concentrated along the support bars and lower edges. The smoked glass top is newly fabricated and custom cut to fit the bases. It is not affixed to the bases.
