About the Item
Mid 19th-century Swedish writing desk in pine with elongated cabriole legs and delicate carved detail around the sitting area. Newer black painted finish is lightly distressed, revealing pine beneath and enhancing its period feel. Features five drawers: one central large drawer operated with a skeleton key used as a pull, and four smaller drawers opened with a second skeleton key (locks no longer functioning). Floor-to-skirt height is 25 inches. Top shows age-related marks reflecting long use. Restored, strong, and stable; a graceful Swedish writing table suitable for many interiors.
All scratches, scuffs, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this attractive desk.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed.
