About the Item

Mid-Century Rosewood Executive Desk with Y Pulls by Jens Risom, 1960s. Rare large freestanding executive rosewood desk designed by Jens Risom. Exceptionally beautiful large table top offers plenty of workspace. Beautiful expressive rosewood veneer on all surfaces. Drawer section with four large deep drawers fitted with the distinctive black Y pulls. All drawers with adjustable dividers and top drawer with pen tray. The drawer module can be locked, one key is included. Above the drawers is a pull out tray with glass insert Four round legs with adjustable feet allows the desk to be raised an additional 25 millimeters. Plenty of knee space under the large table top. Danish American designer Jens Risom has combined Scandinavian and American Mid-Century Modern design to perfection in this stunning writing desk. Very good vintage condition with light patina consistent with age and use. A few scratches predominantly to the back of the drawer module. All surfaces have been cleaned and polished, ready for use.
