About the Item

Mini Willy Van Der Meeren industrial desks for Tubax—perfect as an entry table or vanity, with a printed laminate top, black enameled metal wire frame, and black sheet metal shelf. Founded in 1948 by Jan Vits, Tubax became one of Belgium's leading metal furniture producers. By 1963, with around 200 employees, Tubax was at its peak and producing the now-iconic Van Der Meeren designs. This industrial-style desk from that era is in original condition, showing wear and enamel loss consistent with age and use. Seat clearance is 24.75" wide and 4.25" high. Priced individually. Piece may differ slightly in terms of wear from the one pictured. Similar versions with rounded or square wood edges, and a larger wood-edge model, are listed separately. More available with long lead time.
