Napoléon III black lacquer refinished Gilt-Bronze and Sèvres Style Ormolu mounted Bonheur du Jour. This beautiful Bonheur du Jour is a superb example of the taste, artistic sensibilities and craftsmanship that prevailed during the reign of Napoleon III. The lower body has a compartmentalized drawer with a flat writing surface. The door of the upper section and the drawer of the lower section are mounted with handmade porcelain plaques.
