Large 19th-century Napoleon III desk. Blackened solid wood frame and diamond-shaped veneer for a 3D effect typical of the Napoleon III style. Beautiful marquetry work throughout the desk with baroque and geometric decoration (see photos). Good vintage condition, with numerous signs of age and use: veneer chips, numerous restorations, scratches, etc.
