About the Item
Scrittoio Fratino restaurato e rivisitato. Le classiche gambe a lira sono di noce massello, mordenzate color ebano. La parte superiore è stata pulita e rifinita a cera bituminosa. Si compone di un piano a ribalta che dà accesso ai 4 cassetti. La parte finale del sotto piano ha due piccoli ganci laterali che permettono di mantenere la chiusura quando la ribalta è aperta.
Lo scrittoio si distingue per le perfette proporzioni e per le eleganti volute a ricciolo, particolarmente ricche sia sulle gambe che sulle traverse a creare un bellissimo movimento. Una volta chiuso lo scrittoio ha le fattezze di un tavolo.
I 4 cassetti sul fondo sono stati mordenzati color ebano in ogni piano interno.
Lo scrittoio è dei primi anni del 1900, originale in ogni suo pezzo. La ferramenta è tutta originale.
