About the Item

A very fine gilt bronze mounted tulipwood and amaranth desk. by L. Cueunières (active from 1870). A french ormolu-mounted mahogany bureau plat. By l. Cueunieres, third quarter 19th century. The moulded rectangular top with gilt-tooled yellow leather-lined writing surface above three frieze drawers and three conforming dummy drawers to the reverse, on fluted square tapering legs and toupie feet, stamped to the underside L.Cueunieres ebeniste. Measures: 74 cm. high x 120 cm. wide x 78 cm. deep.
