English Antique Burr Walnut Queen Anne Style Dining Table and Six Chairs 1930s

About the Item

A fine quality Queen Anne style burr walnut extending dining table and matching set of six leather seated chairs. English - Circa 1930's. Delivery is INCLUDED in the price for all areas in MAINLAND England Wales. Delivery is restricted to ground floor. The set are in superb clean condition for their age, with a great patina and wonderful shine. They show very light signs of use. There are a few marks to the inside of the table's legs, and some light marks to the top, please see photograph 16. These marks are minimal. The chairs are made of solid walnut, with burr walnut veneers to the front of the chair-backs. The carvers having shepherd's crook arms. The table and chairs sit on solid walnut Queen Anne legs with hand carved acanthus leaf decoration at the knees. The table has one leaf which can be neatly stored under the main table. The drop in seats have been fully reupholstered and covered in an unfinished leather hide, which has then been professionally hand dyed and finished, giving character and a slight aged look. Please also see the matching sideboard and server/console table listed separately. Dining table: Width 183cm to 213.5cm (7ft) Depth 92cm (3ft) Height 79 cm. Chairs - Side chairs: Wide 56cm x Deep 57cm x High 103cm The seat heights are 51cm Carver chairs: Wide 59cm x Deep 58cm x High 103cm The inside seat width is 46cm. Seat heights are 52cm. The main photograph shows the set fully extended, with carvers at each end. This measures approximately 300cm from the back of each armchair. Photograph number 17 shows the set at 270cm wide without the leaf. Additional dimensions information: 213cm fully extended. There is 67cm in height from the floor to the underside of the frieze for leg room.
