1960s Danish Round Extendable Dining Table in Oak style of Henning Kjærnulf

About the Item

Vintage mid-century oak dining room, or kitchen, table captures the essence of Henning Kjærnulf's design philosophy, blending a bold brutalist aesthetic with refined danish craftsmanship. The intricate leg carvings harmonize beautifully with the table's rounded shape, creating a piece that both have the nordic design look and is very functional. Its excellent vintage condition, smooth glide mechanism, and sturdy build are enhanced by a touch of charming patina, as seen in the photos. Legs are straight and wood is with no damage. The table has been lightly cleaned and degreased to keep the patina and grain color, and then treated with oil. please see photos. It is the table on the right photo with 2 tables in it. We do have more tables in stock, if you are looking for a lighter or darker or another model of this type of tables, or deeper look, please see our other listings. If you are looking for multiple tables, for a bar/café, restaurant or other location, we do offer a price discount. The table size is good and small and with the addition of two extra leaves (each measuring 50cm or approximately 19.68 inches), the table can extend to accommodate 6, 8, or even 12 people, making it ideal for dinner parties and larger gatherings. The clearance under the table for chairs is 63 cm (approximately 24.8 inches). Extension plates is made from veneer and has a good, yet darker color. Please see photos for reference. Sturdy and firm, ready to use. We go thorugh all of our products entirely and fix and clean whenever a imperfection is seen. The furnitures comes with and age of 50+ years, so a patina will be visible.
