Elegant oval dining table from the late Biedermeier period, made in southern Germany around 1830.
The table features a finely grained solid cherrywood top with a warm, honey-colored tone and a beautifully turned central column resting on three curved legs. The craftsmanship reflects the light, harmonious design typical of late Biedermeier furniture and shows exceptional balance and proportion.
The tabletop is attached to the base by a traditional wooden screw connection and can be easily unscrewed for transport or maintenance.
Fully restored and hand-polished with shellac, the surface presents a deep natural gloss that enhances the vivid structure of the cherrywood grain.
