A distinguished 19th-century English Regency double pedestal dining table, finely crafted in rich, figured mahogany, and resting on elegant brass-mounted casters. This classic dining table features two shaped pedestals, each supported by a cluster of four bamboo-turned columns rising from a molded platform base, and terminating in four splayed legs with original brass feet and casters.
The table includes two original 18" leaves, allowing it to extend for formal dining while maintaining graceful proportions when closed. The top showcases the fine Regency aesthetic with a gently rounded edge and warm, book-matched mahogany grain, beautifully aged to a deep, lustrous patina.
Exemplifying the balance and refinement of English Regency design, this table is both functional and architecturally elegant—perfect for sophisticated dining rooms or period interiors.
