About the Item
20th-century English wake table crafted in bleached oak with classic dropleaf construction. Gateleg supports allow flexible chair placement when used as a dining table.
With both leaves lowered, the table functions well as a 23" narrow console; when raised, it provides a versatile dining surface just under 7.5' long.
Early 20th-century craftsmanship is evident throughout, with traditional proportions and solid oak construction. Restored, strong, stable; ready for use in dining areas or multifunctional spaces. Typical age and use related scratches, nicks, and some old knots in the wood have been filled in.
