49" English Victorian Center Table, 19th Century Round Mahogany Dining Table.
An exceptional fine quality round tilt-top table with rich solid mahogany of spectacular butterfly or open book cut. This is not a table with veneer, instead solid Cuban mahogany.
The slab top rests on a remarkable boldly-carved base which is also constructed of solid mahogany. A truly magnificent form of the table which could serve as a dining or breakfast table, library, center table.
One of the more generously-proportioned 19th Century Victorian tilt-top tables we’ve come across – the table sits six quite comfortably. Manufactured in England, circa 1820.
Measures: 49 1/2" diameter x 29 3/4" height
Under the top the leg clearance is 26 1/2"
