About the Item
Antique French Louis XVI Mahogany Breakfast ~ Dining Table represents the essence of the tailored look, creating a table just the right size for cozy dining rooms or breakfast nooks. Crafted from fine imported mahogany, it features a solid plank top supported by a curved, unadorned apron fitted with four tapered and faceted legs, each with a rosette carved at the juncture of the apron. Included with the table is an original leaf also fitted with a matching apron, that sets in place with "biscuits" and is affixed with brass latches. This provides a little extra room for larger chairs or larger breakfasts! Literally designed to last for generations, the wood used is famous for its resistance to aging and ability to retain its natural beauty for decade after decade.
