About the Item
Antique French Oak Trestle Dining Table that appears to be over 200-years old. We purposely left the patina completely original, even down to the very bottom of the trestles where you can see how mopping the floor lightened the oak. The temptation to refinish the beautiful thick white oak top was difficult to resist, but they are only original once and you simply cannot duplicate this 200-year old patina. Yes, we can clearly see that during its extensive lifetime that numerous structural repairs have been performed, but all were in Europe and we are offering our Antique French Rustic Oak Dining Table or Kitchen Table exactly as it was removed from its home. Years ago tables like this Rustic French Trestle Table was quite commonplace in Europe and easy to obtain, but sadly those days are long gone and this one is truly exceptional, assuming you can appreciate original condition.
